Fixed to the structure
The base mounts directly to two studs, creating a shared support for the electrical boxes.
Support for drywall installation
Metal support for mounting socket and switch boxes between wall studs. Designed for drywall walls, with defined alignment positions and two sizes to match the frame.
Fixed to the structure
EDS connects two studs with one continuous base for electrical boxes. The positions in the part define socket and switch alignment, bringing precision to wall preparation.
Technical performance
The base mounts directly to two studs, creating a shared support for the electrical boxes.
Four or six positions in a single part. One continuous reference for arranging each electrical point.
Reaction to fire class A1 is declared for the EDS metal support. See the technical documentation for each model.
A galvanised steel body designed to integrate electrical box mounting into the wall structure.
Wall installation
Tracks receive the vertical studs. The frame spacing determines the support: EDS 400 for 40 cm or EDS 600 for 60 cm.
The insulation fills the space between the studs inside the wall. The open view shows its position within the frame.
The support sits against the studs. Four screws pass through the fixing holes at the ends of the plate.
Two boxes enter the support openings: one for the socket and one for the switch. Recesses in the insulation accommodate their depth.
Plasterboard covers the frame, with two openings. The mechanisms are secured to the boxes, followed by the cover frames and the socket and switch fronts.

Choosing the model
Use EDS 400 when the studs are installed at 40 cm centres. For studs installed at 60 cm centres, use EDS 600.
For studs at 40 cm centres
4 box positions
For studs at 60 cm centres
6 box positions
Choose the model to match the wall stud spacing and consult the product data before installation.
Compatibility
EDS is compatible with all electrical boxes on the market, providing a shared support for sockets and switches.
